Dear Mr. Secretary:

This is in response to the Commission's request for additional comments following the hearings held June 10, 1997, regarding access to public and non-public records.

I operate a licensed private detective agency which relies heavily upon access to such records for our business livelihood. In this regard, I wish to express my support for the concept of self regulation vs. governmental control.
