SUB: US Perspectives on Consumer Protection in Global Electronic Marketplace - Comments, P994312

Dear Secretary Federal Trade Commission:

I think there has to be a "Single Entity per State/Country" to handle this situation or it will be too confusing to the entire Global e-market I am very interested in being "The Contact Base for Consumer Complaints on e-commerce for the State of Utah". I would investigate the company to get the required information needed to forward complaints to the appropriate agency or department capable of handling it.

I think if the government provided funding/or other type of payment for this, there would be many Webmasters willing to take on the responsibility since this would also benefit them. It would bring traffic to there locations and we all win (consumers, webmasters, and government). Consumers get protection, Webmasters get more traffic to their site, and government end up paying less for the service.

Again, I am very interested in being able to provide this type of service to the consumers. I hope you will consider this. Any response would be appreciated.

Thank You
Judy Davison
