Assisted in the development of the curriculum for the Department of Agricultural Economics and Rural Development and the Department of Farm and Agribusiness Management. Support for Agriculture Restructuring in Albania Project, June 23-July 9, 1995. Studied the financial system of Albania and reported to the Albanian Business Center regarding the development of a private banking system in Albania. Travel funded under USAID Contract No. EUR-0049-C-00-4017.

Finance in Europe: Study abroad class taught in Europe during May and June 1995. Only faculty member with 11 Virginia Tech students in Italy, Switzerland, France, and England for a period of over four weeks. Designed, promoted, and implemented this class with minimal assistance from College and University. The students received 6 hours of credit.

Faculty Advisor for a group of four students from Ulyanovsk Polytechnic University, Ulyanovsk, Russia. These students came to Virginia Tech for the Fall semester of 1994 as a part of a student exchange. Exchange designed, promoted, and implemented with minimal assistance from College and University.

Only American faculty member with 10 Virginia Tech students in St. Petersburg, Moscow, and Ulyanovsk Russia for a period of over four weeks.
