Being online is part of kids' lives. The Federal Trade Commission has a new, magazine-sized publication called "Living Life Online," that talks to kids about what they do online, and how the choices they make matter. Through short articles, activities, quizzes, and an ask-the-expert column, kids learn how to be good digital citizens. They find out about how to stay safer online and how to use critical thinking skills – and apply them to the advertising they see all around them. Kids get ideas on what to do about bullying, learn about cell phone bill shock, and consider some dilemmas that might spur discussion with their friends or adults.
