- Public Comments
The Commission solicits comments from the public before taking final action on certain matters, such as consent agreements or certain information requests. The notice for comment appears in the Federal Register and allows the public a period of time in which to comment. After reviewing the comments, and in some cases modifying the original document, the Commission finalizes the matter.
- Closing Letters
The Commission sends a letter to proposed respondents of an investigation when the matter concludes without enforcement action.
